Sewy Joeys have a cross-section of nappies for this stocking, including our original Velcro OSFM & Snap OSFM with a mix of pockets & AI2 inserts.  The variety reflects customer feedback, demand and popularity at a time when we’re unable to take on further customs.

All of our nappies have been sewn with great care.  Each piece has been cut out individually with attention to pattern placement and where necessary, fabric has been cut and joined to ensure the print is the right way up on both the front and back of the nappy.  All cotton panel pieces have been interfaced and reinforcing is applied to the snap areas.

We no longer have a sewn insert, in its place we now have a long folding all bamboo (430 gsm) insert which equates to 6 layers of absorbency.  A snap holds the insert in place in the all-in-two nappies, whilst the pocket contains the insert in the pocket nappies.  This style of insert allows the nappy shell to be re-used (provided it isn’t soiled!), unfolds to dry quickly and has the advantage of being adjustable, allowing absorbency to be folded where it is needed most depending on your child’s age and/or gender.  Our insert is also very generous, extending the full length and width of the nappy!

NB:  insert can be folded in a manner that suits your childs requirements eg. front flap may be folded twice placing extra absorbency in the front.

Our materials and notions are top quality, we now use only designer quilting cotton fabric (vibrant for much longer than our previous cotton prints), mostly minky sourced from Shannon’s in the US, Fabrite PUL, Kam snaps and heavy weight bamboo fleece.
